Amy’s fiance, Mark, wanted her engagement ring to capture her beauty inside and out, especially “the way her eyes change from blue to green”! It was so touching to hear him speak of Amy and their shared passion for life and outdoor fun. I took great inspiration from their love of nature and channeled it through the filigree and the organic curves of the ring. The center stone is a 1.72 carat Montana Blue Sapphire that was sourced directly from the Eldorado Bar Mine and hand cut by John Burleyson of GemRite. This beauty is all natural, never heat treated, and the color shifts depending on the light from a violet blue, to blue, to a greenish blue.
Materials: 14k White Gold, 18k White Gold Russian Filigree, Montana Blue Sapphire
